1. Who we are
Creators Fam ("we", "us") is operated by Lewis Brew, a sole trader trading as BossTech, of 20 Clematis Walk, Wardley, Swinton, M27 9UD, United Kingdom. Contact: bossbk101@gmail.com.
These terms apply when you join, or pay to join, the Creators Fam community ("the Community"), which is hosted on Discord, and when you use creatorsfam.com ("the Site"). By subscribing or joining you agree to them.
2. What Creators Fam is
Creators Fam is a paid community for creators, freelancers and solopreneurs. Membership gives you access to the Community's Discord server and to the resources, sessions and channels we make available there from time to time. We may add, change or retire channels, sessions and resources. We will not remove the core of the Community (the members' Discord server) while your subscription is active without telling you first.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You need your own Discord account, and you must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
4. Batches and pricing
Membership opens in batches. The First Batch has 50 members, the Second and Third Batches have 100 members each, and the Fourth Batch is open with no set limit on members for now. Each batch has its own price, shown on the Site and at checkout (currently monthly $3.49 / $4.99 / $6.99 / $8.99 for the First to Fourth Batch; yearly plans are available from the Second Batch). The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. We may change the number of members in a batch, or close or reopen a batch to new members, at any time. This does not change the price or access of anyone who is already a member.
Price lock. Your price stays the same for as long as you stay subscribed. If you cancel and later rejoin, you pay the price of the batch that is open at that time.
Prices are charged in US dollars. Your bank may convert the amount to your own currency and may charge its own fees. If we become required to charge VAT or another tax, we will show it clearly before you pay.
Founding members. The first 20 members are Founding members. They are invited directly, in addition to the paid batches, and do not pay a subscription. Founding members keep free access for as long as the Community runs and they follow these terms. Founding access is personal and non-transferable, and these terms (other than payment terms) apply to Founding members too.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year (depending on the plan you choose) until you cancel. Payments are taken by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If it remains unpaid, we may suspend or remove your access until the account is brought up to date.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation, your statutory cooling-off right and refunds are explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Your Discord invite
After payment you receive a single-use invite to the Community server, valid for 7 days. Do not share it. If it expires or fails, contact us at bossbk101@gmail.com with your payment email and we will issue a replacement. Membership is for one person, and sharing your access with others is not allowed.
8. Community rules
You agree to:
- be respectful, and not harass, discriminate against, threaten or abuse anyone;
- not post illegal content, spam, malware, or unsolicited promotion of your own products, services or referral links outside channels where that is allowed;
- not copy, resell, republish or redistribute Community content, recordings or resources without our written permission;
- not impersonate others or misuse the server (including bots, scraping or mass-messaging members).
We may warn, mute, suspend or remove members who break these rules or who put other members at risk. If we remove you for serious or repeated breach, we are not obliged to refund the current billing period, but this does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting in the Community, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and use it within the Community, and (only with your separate permission) to share it more widely, for example as a testimonial or case study. Only post what you have the right to post.
10. No guarantees of results
Creators Fam provides education, discussion and community. We do not promise any particular income, audience growth, clients or monetisation outcome. Examples and numbers shared are illustrations, not guarantees. You are responsible for your own business decisions and for compliance with the law, platform rules and tax obligations that apply to you.
11. Our content and intellectual property
We own, or are licensed to use, the Site, the Creators Fam name and branding, and the resources we create. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own personal or business learning while you are a member.
12. Third-party services
The Community runs on Discord, and payments run on Stripe. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct, but we will take reasonable steps to keep the Community running and will tell you of any significant change that affects you.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability to you in connection with your membership is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the service or the law. For changes that materially affect you, we will give you at least 30 days' notice (by email or in the Community). If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. Price changes never apply to an active subscriber's price lock (see section 4).
15. Ending the relationship
You can cancel at any time. We may end your membership if you materially breach these terms (see section 8) or if we close the Community, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period that you have not been able to use.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, and you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
