3. Who we share it with
We use these services to run Creators Fam, and they process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own privacy policies:
- Stripe: payments and subscription records (stripe.com/privacy)
- Discord: the Community platform (discord.com/privacy)
- Vercel: website hosting and technical logs (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
- Google Fonts: fonts loaded by the website (policies.google.com/privacy)
- Our accountant and professional advisers, where needed
- Authorities, where the law requires it
Some of these providers are based outside the UK (including in the US). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards the provider uses, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy arrangement.
4. How long we keep it
- Payment and tax records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to (legal requirement).
- Subscription and membership records: while you are a member and for up to 6 years afterwards, to deal with claims and disputes.
- Support emails: up to 2 years.
- Community messages remain while the Community exists unless you ask us to remove them (see your rights).
5. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email bossbk101@gmail.com; we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
6. Cookies and tracking
The Site uses only the essential technical storage needed for it to work. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads. We do not use advertising cookies. If you reach checkout through a link on one of our own sites or a referrer's link, the link may carry a short source label. It is part of the link's address, not a cookie, it is not used to follow you to other websites, and it never changes your price. Stripe Checkout, on Stripe's own pages, uses its own cookies for payment and fraud prevention. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
7. Security
Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us. Access to our systems is restricted and uses secure connections. No system is perfectly secure; if there is a breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
8. Children
Creators Fam is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect children's data.
9. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
